Limited Warranty Terms & Conditions

(Lithium-Ion Battery Storage Systems (LFP – Home Inverter Series))

Models Covered Under This Warranty:

• 12.8V 105Ah
• 25.6V 105Ah/210Ah
• 51.2V 105Ah/210Ah/315Ah

Warranty Period: 5 (Five) Years Limited Warranty from the date of invoice.

1. Warranty Coverage

Yukinova warrants that the Lithium-Ion Battery supplied shall be free from manufacturing defects, defects in material, and defects in workmanship under normal operating conditions. This warranty also covers internal BMS failure due to manufacturing fault.

2. Performance Warranty

The battery is designed for residential inverter / UPS applications and solar hybrid inverter compatibility. The battery must be used for indoor fixed installation only.
Capacity Retention Guarantee: Minimum 70% usable capacity at the end of 5 years, subject to normal residential usage conditions.

3. Operating Conditions (Warranty Valid Only If)

Battery must be operated within the following limits:

• Charging Voltage: As specified in technical manual
• Charging Current: Within recommended limits
• Operating Temperature: 0°C to 50°C
• Storage Temperature: 5°C to 35°C
• Installation: Indoor, dry, ventilated location

Battery must not be exposed to direct sunlight, water ingress, flooding, or corrosive environments.

4. Depth of Discharge (DoD) & Usage Limits

Warranty applies under maximum 80–90% Depth of Discharge (as per BMS setting) and maximum one (1) cycle per day average residential usage.
Designed cycle life: 3000–6000 cycles depending on model.

5. Installation Requirements

Warranty valid only if:

• Installed by authorized technician / qualified electrician
• Compatible inverter used
• Proper earthing provided
• Correct charging parameters configured
• Anti-backflow/CT function properly installed (if grid export system)
   

6. What is Covered

• Manufacturing defect
• Internal cell failure
• BMS malfunction
• Premature capacity drop (below 70% threshold within warranty period)

Structural manufacturing faults

Yukinova reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide a refurbished equivalent unit at its discretion. Replacement does not extend the original warranty period.

7. Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

• Transportation cost after 12 months from invoice date
• Site visit charges after 12 months if no manufacturing defect is found
• Cosmetic damage
• Improper storage
• Damage due to rodents or insects

8. Claim Procedure

To raise a warranty claim, customer must provide:

• Original invoice copy
• Warranty card
• Serial number
• Installation photo
• Inverter model details

Inspection will be conducted before approval of any claim.

9. Liability Limitation

Yukinova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of business or loss of data. Maximum liability shall be limited to the original product value.

10. Serial Number & Traceability

Each battery carries a unique serial number. Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is transferable only with the original invoice.

11. Safety Disclaimer

Lithium battery contains high energy cells. Do not open, crush, burn, or modify the battery. Improper handling may cause fire or explosion.

12. Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed under Indian Law. All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi courts only.

NOTE:

Warranty coverage is strictly limited to manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not cover normal deterioration, natural aging of the battery, or capacity reduction resulting from regular use, cycle life consumption, or time-based degradation. Reduction in battery capacity due to normal charge/discharge cycles is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered under warranty.
